Only the streaks of a dream stretch into the day, soon giving way to sips from a cup of milky blue. A fat mouse tripping over a piano. There are still the delicate branches growing from familiar ears, the rustling of their leaves kept you awake for a long time. The seahorse hovers above the table with almost transparent wings. Thick pink liquid drips, drips, drips onto the carpet. You got goose bumps from a noise that seems familiar, but you didn’t recognize it. In your pocket, perhaps the dried snapdragons and an ultraviolet beetle that you have wrapped in transparent crackling foil. When you close your eyes, it's all gone. A sound stretches like chewing gum. If you blow once, a bubble bursts – but for now, everything is still here.
Es ziehen sich nur noch die Schlieren eines Traums in den Tag, gleich weicht er den Schlucken aus einer Tasse voll milchigem Blau. Eine dicke Maus trippelt über ein Klavier. Da sind noch die feinen Äste, die aus vertrauten Ohren wachsen, das Rascheln ihrer Blätter hielt dich lange wach. Das Seepferdchen schwebt über dem Tisch mit fast durchsichtigen Flügeln. Dicke rosa Flüssigkeit tropft, tropft, tropft auf den Teppich. Du hast Gänsehaut von einem Geräusch, das vertraut scheint, aber du erkennst es nicht. In deiner Tasche: vielleicht noch die getrockneten Löwenmäulchen und ein ultravioletter Käfer, den du an in transparente Knisterfolie gewickelt hast. Wenn du die Augen schliesst, ist alles weg. Ein Ton zieht sich wie Kaugummi in die Länge. Wenn du einmal pustest, platzt eine Seifenblase, – aber noch ist alles da.
